Calapooia Brewing 2026 aLES FOR als bEER rELEASE pARTY
Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 25th, 2026 from 1 - 5 PM, and come join us at Calapooia Brewing’s Ales for ALS Beer Release Party for a day filled with fun and fundraising! In partnership with the Ales for ALS™ fundraising program, this marks our fifth year supporting the ALS Therapy Development Institute in the fight against ALS.
Be among the first to taste our special release brew as we tap the first keg for our party guests. For every pint sold, $1 will be donated to the ALS Therapy Development Institute, allowing you to enjoy a great beer while supporting a great cause. To boost our fundraising efforts, the event will also include raffle prizes, a dunk tank, and various games and activities.
Raffle Prizes: Thanks to generous contributions from local businesses, we have exciting raffle prizes up for grabs. Tickets can be purchased at the event with cash or card and winners will be announced at the end of the evening. You need not be present to win.
Dunk Tank: Test your aim and have fun dunking our volunteers, local business owners, and Team Calapooia employees. Purchase three throws for $5, with all proceeds going directly to the ALS Therapy Development Institute.
This event is free to attend and both family and pet-friendly. Enjoy craft beers, Vivacity Spirits cocktails and delicious dishes from our brewpub. Raise a glass with us, enjoy an unforgettable day, and play a part in the fight against ALS. We look forward to seeing you at Calapooia Brewing!

About Ales for ALS™
The Ales for ALS™ program brings together beer enthusiasts globally to combat ALS. Breweries craft unique beers using a specially developed hop blend, donating part of the proceeds to ALS research. Each year, Yakima Chief Hops collaborates with master brewers to create an exclusive blend - the 2026 Hop Blend features Simcoe®, Citra®, Ekuanot®, and Columbus hops. The blend was selected for its citrus and floral notes, and delivers berry, tropical, woody, and stone fruit character.

Our Fundraising Goals for 2026
In 2025, we proudly raised over $1,500 from our release party alone to support ALS research. With the addition of our per-pint donations, we contributed more than $5,000 in total. This achievement was largely thanks to our community's support for this cause.
There are two ways that our community partners can help us raise money this year for ALS research. For both, 100% of proceeds will be donated to ALS Therapy Development Institute.
Raffle Donations: We’re seeking donations of merchandise, gift baskets or gift certificates to include in our raffle fundraiser during the event. We’re happy to coordinate to have someone pick up the donations from you.
Dunk Tank + Carnival Games at Release Party: If you would like to volunteer to take the plunge and sign up to be in our dunk tank, your friends and family can pay for a chance to dunk you during the event!
For your generous support, we’ll feature your business logo on our event poster, webpage, and on social media, as well as provide a poster for you to display at your business.
To ensure your logo is included in the poster, please inform us of your donation by June 25th. We gladly welcome contributions after this date, continuing until July 24th.
