Join Calapooia Brewing on Thursday, November 12th, from 5-6 p.m. as we welcome the next instalment of History Sips, the after-hours version of Albany Regional Museum’s popular lecture program History Bites.
November’s event will feature Defining Folk Music in the United States. The event is free to attend, open to the public, and will take place in the brewpub's outdoor, covered atrium.
In this presentation, speaker Brooke Taylor will present an overview of folk music's history and the genre's meaning over time in the United States, complete with a music performance.
Food and drinks can be purchased from Calapooia Brewing as normal; no refreshments will be provided by ARM.
